Cyber insurance is a rapidly growing class.  For more than two years a lively debate has been ongoing between brokers, insurers, reinsurers and regulators on war and state-backed cyber operations and the extent to which these risks are insurable. 

The speakers discuss the different issues which arise in this debate, why it matters, the sustainability of cyber insurance and the search for value. Sherilyn Pastor has first hand experience of the issues, appearing as amici counsel in the ongoing coverage dispute with Merck, now heading to the New Jersey Supreme Court. Julian Miller has been working with insurers, reinsurers and regulators on cyber war clauses since the first emergence of this issue.
