In the first week that New York's Child Victims Act went into effect last month, over four hundred new sexual assault suits were filed. As statutes of limitation are rolled back across the country, many old claims are coming back to life. For our second ACCC "pop up" call, two experts will lead a discussion with respect to why this is happening now, what types of policyholders will be most highly impacted and what kind of insurance coverage issues these new claims will engender.
