Transatlantic Lectures on Insurance Law - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND INSURANCE BASED COMPENSATION SCHEMES
Thursday, November 11, 2021, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM EDT
Category: Events of Interest

The lecture series represents a transatlantic joint venture in which leading experts from Europe, North America, South America and Africa discuss fundamental questions of insurance law online (via Zoom). The lectures are primarily aimed at participants from Europe, North America, South America and Africa. With this in mind, the time of the event has been chosen to enable participation on both sides of the Atlantic. Speakers and participants from other regions are, of course, also very welcome to attend. The lecture series encompasses key topics, each of which are dealt with in two lectures over the period of half a year. The focus for the first half of 2021 (Lectures 1 & 2) was COVID-19: CHALLENGES FOR (RE-)INSURANCE LAW - A TRANSNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE, the focus of the second half of 2021 (Lectures 3 & 4) is ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND INSURANCE. ACCC Fellows Prof. Jeff Stempel and Prof. Erik Knutsen are part of the planning committee. ACCC Member John Buchanan will be presenting.

Lecture 4 of the series will take place November 11, 2021 at 12 Noon ET.
